Lorianne Lau’Rie Ridley (Dames), 52, passed peacefully on February 13, 2026, after a short illness, surrounded by the love of her family.

Lorianne was predeceased by her beloved son, Isaiah Frazier, and her father, Arthur Dames.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Singleton, and stepfather, Marion Singleton; her daughter, Cashis Gray; and her three sons Krishaon (Kara) Ewing, Justin Frazier, and Kurt Ridley II.

Lorianne was a proud grandmother to Giovanni, Elijah, Arthur, Adrian, and Eve. She is also survived by her sisters Nakia Dames, Marion (Shane) Sullivan, Katrina Dames, and Jasmine Dames; her beloved oldest nephew, Jaylin Middleton; her close friend, Alistair Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who held her dearly.

Lorianne lived a full and vibrant life, finding joy in both the everyday and the extraordinary. She loved the Lord and rooted her happiness in faith, family, and the beauty of simple moments. She tended her garden with care, filled her home with the smell of her incredible cooking, and delighted in decorating with the antiques she lovingly collected. Holidays, basket raffles, Bingo nights, and trips to the casino were some of the many ways she enjoyed making memories with those she loved. She was an amazing cook, gifted with a joyful sense of humor, and she brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. Whether she was candle making, shopping, traveling, or giving thoughtful gifts, Lorianne poured love into everything she did. Above all, time spent with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews was her greatest joy.

She was an extraordinary grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and friend—someone whose presence made life brighter for everyone around her.

Her warmth, strength, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
