Lorraine Cerone

It is with great respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Cerone, a cherished member of the Rochester community and a dedicated long-time employee of the Xerox company. Born on April 5, 1954, in Rochester, New York, Lorraine’s life spanned over seven decades, during which she touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering commitment.

Lorraine passed away on May 6, 2026, at Monroe Community Hospital, leaving behind a legacy marked by hard work and devotion to family. Her career at Xerox was distinguished by loyalty and dedication, reflecting her steadfast character and professionalism.

She was born and raised in Rochester, a city she held dear throughout her life. Known for her warm spirit and gentle nature, Lorraine’s presence was a source of comfort and joy to those who knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved brother, Richard, who stood by her side as family and friend, and her beloved dog Sadie Rose, who brought companionship and happiness into her daily life. Though her parents, Alexander and Rosaline (Chiappone) Cerone, as well as her sister Patricia, and brother Alex have preceded her in death, their memories and influence remain deeply cherished by all who knew Lorraine.

A Mass to honor Lorraine's life will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, located at 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, NY 14615, on May 11, 2026. The service will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m., providing an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to come together in remembrance.

Lorraine Cerone’s life was one of quiet strength and enduring love. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the meaningful and lasting impact she made on the lives of those around her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
