Lorraine Speciale

Lorraine Speciale Webster, New York Passed away peacefully on May 2nd 2026 at the age of 92. 

She is predeccased by her husband John Speciale; Parents Joseph Pecoraro and Ethel Pecoraro; loving Son Johnny Conti; Siblings Russell (Janet) Pecoraro, Marlene (Tony) Di Napoli, Betty (Justin) Vent, Kenny ( Carol) Pecoraro, and Diane Stanisci. 

She is survived by her beautiful Children; Susan (Dan) Baker, Joseph (Stacey) Conti, Linda (Jim) DeMarco, Rosario “ Ray” (Paula) Conti, Brother-in-law, Bruno Stanisci; Grand Children Richard (Renee Baker), Peter (Heather) Dellefave, Gina Baker, Danielle (Dave) Horn, Danielle (Chad) Mc Carthy, Jason (Daniella) Baker, Angelo (Davina) Salvatore, Joe (Rachel) Short, Anthony (Jennipher) Conti, Krista (Ricky) Conti, Dominic (Becky) Conti, Jimmy De Marco; Several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews . 

Lorraine, lovingly known as “Ma,” “Gramma Rain,” “Old Nana,” and “The Queen,” lived her entire life devoted to her family. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved—whether it was cooking, feeding everyone, or making sure no one ever left her home without a full heart and even fuller belly. It was her way of showing love, and she gave it endlessly. She was the strongest woman we have ever known. Lorraine bravely battled Parkinson’s disease and many other illnesses for years—not for herself, but for her family. Her only concern was having the strength to keep showing up for us, time and time again. That was who she was—selfless, resilient, and deeply devoted. Everything she did was for her family. She is the very foundation of the close-knit bond we all share today, a legacy she built with unconditional love, strength, and care. Her incredible cooking, her unwavering spirit, and the love she poured into each of us will be deeply missed every single day. 

We will be honoring our Queen with services Tuesday May 12th 2026, 3pm- 7pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals at 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Interment will be Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 10am at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612.
