Passed away on, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Charles (Larry), Francine (Jeff) Grunigen, Edye (Bob) Cocchiara-Dow, Kathy (Dana) Coffey, & Sheila (Jeneya); 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Sister Ann D'Assisi, Yolanda Ruggeri, Eleanor Piendel, & Jane Passino; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lou was a retired Detective in the RPD and a Navy Veteran.
Family will receive friends 2PM- 5PM, Sunday, June12th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Lou's Mass will be held 9:30AM, Monday, June 13th at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave.,Rochester, NY 14612 .
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Rd, Rochester, NY 14618 or Veteran's Outreach Center, 447 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
