Louis Vincent "Butch" Mastrosimone

December 11, 1963 – July 6, 2026

Louis Vincent "Butch" Mastrosimone passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 6, 2026. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Butch dedicated 25 years of service to General Motors, where he took great pride in his work. It was there that he met the love of his life, Gina. They married and built a beautiful life together, raising two beloved children and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Butch had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and cars. He never passed up the opportunity for a long conversation or a good story and had a special gift for making people laugh and feel welcome. Some of his happiest moments were spent taking car rides with his family, simply enjoying being together. He was also an amazing cook who found great joy in preparing meals for those he loved. The holidays were especially meaningful to him, and he cherished gathering his family around the table to share food, laughter, and treasured traditions.

Butch genuinely cared about people. He was always the first to check in on family and friends, offering a listening ear, words of encouragement, or simply letting them know they were loved. Known for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and generous heart, he had a smile that could light up a room and a presence that made everyone feel welcome. He was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Above all else, Butch loved his family immensely. His greatest joy was being a husband and father and spending time with the people he loved most. His unwavering love, strength, and devotion will remain an enduring source of comfort and inspiration to his family.

Butch is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Gina Mastrosimone; his cherished children, Morgan and Michael; his loving parents, Vincent and Connie Mastrosimone; his beloved in-laws, Anthony and Ruth DiPasquale; his sisters, Michelle (George) Greenauer and Janeen (Jim) Cusimano; his brother-in-law, John (Sue) DiPasquale; his nieces, Jessica (Andrew) Liddell and Lainy Araujo; his nephews, Jim (Amanda) McCorry and Nicholas Ziegler; and his great-nephews, Jimmy and Shane McCorry, all of whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James McCorry, and his two beloved Golden Retrievers.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Butch's life at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, New York, on Wednesday, July 15, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the countless memories Butch gave us. His love, laughter, stories, delicious meals, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on in all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and love will never be forgotten.
