A loving and giving woman died at the age of 76 on December 17, 2015.
Lucia was predeceased by her parents, Michael & Antionetta Piccirillo; brothers, Tony and Louie (Antonia) Piccirillo; and sister, Marisa Fanara.
She is survived by her loving family; husband, Salvatore Tommasecchia; sons, Joseph (June) and Jeff (Karen) Falco; step-son, Tony (Lynn) Tommasecchia; brother, Ralph (Rita) Piccirillo; brother-in-law, Gerard Fanara; sisters-in-law, Beverly and Vera Piccirillo; cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Victoria, Sabrina, and Jeffrey Falco, and Velina Tommasecchia; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Lucia was born in Lucera, Italy on December 16, 1939. She immigrated to Rochester at the age of 16. She enjoyed raising her family, spending time over coffee with her sister and brothers, sewing for anyone who asked, and cooking for everyone.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 22 from 4 to 7pm at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 23 at 9:30am, at St Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd, Rochester, NY. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
