Luciano Fileri-DeMichiel
Irondequoit: Passed peacefully on Friday, November 18th, 2011 at age 86 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his son David & granddaughter Jeanette. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Venturina, daughter Glori (Charles) Korytko. Grandchildren, Matthew Korytko, Angela Korytko & fiancé Travis Steinebach; great granddaughter Gianna Steinebach, 3 sisters & 4 sisters in-law, 1 brother & 3 brothers in-law. Many nieces & nephews & many special friends.
Luciano was a member of the Sicilian Sports Club. He will be remembered for his love of nature, gardening, playing bocce ball & cards with his many friends & his trips to Italy.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 22nd from 4-7PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Parish at St. Cecilia Church, 2732 Culver Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
