Irondequoit: Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters Helen and Mary Zona on Monday February 3, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Paul, son Rocco Zona and sisters. In addition to her daughters she is survived by her grandchildren, Paul (Melissa) Zona, Christina (Brian) VerHeecke; great-grandchildren, Desyré, Chad, Devon, Rocco, Gianna and Arianna; daughter-in-law, Ann Zona; and many dear family and friends.
Family will receive friends Friday February 7th from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Maddie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 AM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
