Raleigh, NC: Marco went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21st, 2010, at age 90. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 69 years, Norah. Survived by his daughter, Rosemary Pettis of Raleigh, NC; son Mark (Linda) Scalzo of Rochester; grandchildren, Mathew(Susan) Pettis of Raleigh, NC, Lisa Pettis (John) Keese of Raleigh, NC, Melanie Way of Rochester, Jennifer (Todd) Sherman of Rochester, and Norah (Thomas) Pritchard of Rochester; 12 great-grandchildren.
Marco was a man of quiet faith who valued and loved his family and friends, all of whom will miss his ready smile and dry wit. Marco was a WW II Army Veteran who served his country for 6 years, spending 4 years in the Pacific Front.
We will be honoring him on Wednesday, June 30th at 11:30 AM with a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please meet at the Lake Avenue Gate entrance at 10:45.
