Margaret (Peggy) Davis (86) passed away peacefully July 22, 2015.
She is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Daniel B. Davis, Jr. DVM, and parents Edward and Margaret Hoehl.
She is survived by her children, Peter (Kim) Duchine, Barbara (Mick) George, James Duchine, Daniel (Anne) Davis III, John B. Davis; grandchildren, Tanya, Darrelle, Miles, Lindsay, Dylan, Lauren, Julia, Natalie, and a great-granddaughter, Chloe.
Peggy was born January 26, 1929 in Front Royal, Virginia to Edward and Margaret Hoehl. Early in her life, Peggy and her parents moved to West New York, New Jersey where she grew up and graduated from West New York High School.
After high school, Peggy attended secretarial school in New York City, and worked as a secretary for several years. After moving to Ithaca, NY, Peggy then married her late husband, Dr. Daniel B. Davis, Jr, DVM and ended up settling in Fairport, NY to raise her family.
In addition to raising her family, Peggy (a 50 year breast cancer survivor since the mid 1960's) was also very active in the Reach To Recovery Program and counseled many others being treated for breast cancer.
Retiring in 1985, Peggy and her Husband moved to Florida where they enjoyed a very happy retirement life. She returned to Fairport in 2008, and spent the final 2 years of her life at the Friendly Home.
Peggy's children would like to especially thank the Friendly Home for the excellent care and kindness she received during her time there.
