Margaret P. Ringer "Patty"

Rochester, New York

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Margaret "Patty" Patricia Ringer on Saturday, September 19th, 2026. She was a proud graduate of Nazareth Academy and built a successful career at Eastman Kodak. Always the life of the party, she brought joy, laughter, and vibrancy to every room she entered.

A truly creative soul, Patty was a wonderful artist who loved building intricate miniature dollhouses. She also possessed an adventurous spirit and deep love for travel often capturing beautiful photos along the way documenting her journeys. As a young woman, she visited Africa and Europe, later exploring Australia and South America. She enjoyed cross-country road trips through much of the United States- traveling in her motor home alongside her beloved husband, Dennis.

Patty had a lifelong, profound love for animals. She volunteered at the Seneca Park Zoo, was a dedicated member of Defenders of Wildlife and the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, and shared an unforgettable experience spending time with the wolves at Wolf Park. A strong and resilient woman, she was also a proud breast cancer survivor and supporter. Her strong spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Predeceased by her Loving Husband by only 5 days, Dennis Ringer; Parents, Paul S. Girvin and Margaret E. Girvin; Brother, David Girvin.

She is survived by her Son, David (Laurel) Ringer; Granddaughter, Hailey Ringer; Brother, Paul (Wanda) Girvin; Nieces and nephews, Shelly, Chris, Valerie, and Duane; as well as many family and friends.

Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Friday, September 25th, 2026 at 10:00am. The family will meet at the Lake Avenue gate 15 minutes prior.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, September, 30th, 2026 at 10:00AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1000 N Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626).
