Gates: Passed peacefully Saturday, June 25, 2016 at age 96. She was predeceased by her husband, George. Survived by her daughters, Sophie and Margaret Krekich; granddaughters, Lona VanOrden and Nicole Campbell; great-grandchildren, Dylan VanOrden, Danielle Garcia, Andrea Rosa and several nieces and nephews in Italy.
Family will receive friends Wednesday June 29th, 5-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Maria's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 12 NOON at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Avenue. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
