Marilyn A. Clark

June 21, 1926 — July 27, 2015

Marilyn A. Clark (Carr)

Greece: July 27, 2015 at the age of 89. Survived by her loving children, Sherry (Alexander) Tulloch, William Clark, Marilee (James) Gilliland and Julie Coulon; grandchildren, Patrick (Jamey) Tulloch, Dawn Mulcock, Paul (Amy) Clark, Holly (John) Graf, Robin Clark, Kari Gilliland, Jordan and Jacob Coulon; 12 great-grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Lee H. Clark and was the daughter of the late Williams S. Carr and Eloise (Brion) Carr.

It is through her father's family line that she was a direct descendant of the Mayflower Pilgrim, John Howland. She was a loving mother to many children through Foster Parenting of Monroe County and a dedicated lunch monitor at the Kirk Road Elementary School.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for her Comfort Care Team from the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice for providing expert, sensitive, sensible and supportive care for our mother and us. She became a much loved and gently cared for "grandmother" to her caregivers at the Shore Winds Nursing Home and our thanks extend to them.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 30th 2-4PM and 7-9PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY. Private Interment at the Valley View Cemetery, Avoca, NY.

In lieu of flowers please pay forward a gift of kindness from your heart.
