Greece: Marilyn was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, & newly appointed great grandmother who left us all too soon on January 23, 2023.
She is predeceased by her parents, Harry & Maggie Mills & daughter, Kathleen.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Theodore; sons, David (Linda), Daniel, & Tom; grandchildren, Katelyn (Michael) Tivey & Rachel; great grandchild, Michael Tivey; brother, Cliff (Sandy) Mills; & beloved dog, Sammy.
During childhood, Marilyn arrived in the United States from England with both of her parents & brother. At just 19 years old, Marilyn married Theodore Brightman & they began their life Raising four children, & eventually helped to raise their grandchildren.
When she wasn't busy babysitting her grandkids, Marilyn enjoyed bingo, bird watching, gardening & various crafts. At just 5 feet tall, Marilyn could still manage to fill a room with her loving presence. She will be missed tremendously by her family & friends who knew & loved her.
Calling hours will be Friday February 10, 2023, 4-7pm with services following at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Marilyn's honor to Lollypop Farms.
