Greece: Passed at home surrounded by her family on Friday, November 4, 2011, at age 68. Predeceased by her parents Loretta & August Sopp, brother Francis "Bud" Sopp, sister Amelia "Amy" Burger, infant daughter Carolyn, and very special friend, Jim Zobel. Survived by her children Karen (Gary) DeFazio, Christopher, Gregory (Ann), David Jr. (Haley) & James (Cara) Konzel; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Sarah, Alexandra, Bella Mia, August & Cassian; sister-in-law Ann Sopp; many nieces, nephews; and her dog, Molly.
The Family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You to all who contributed to her care.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 9th from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 AM at Our Mothers of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Rochester 14612. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
