Mark Thomas Rogers

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Mark Thomas Rogers passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love.

He was predeceased by his devoted parents, Charles and Jean (Schoen) Rogers, and his dear brother, Chuck Rogers. Mark leaves behind his beloved siblings who will miss him deeply: his sisters, Laura Rogers, Jean (Rogers) Nuijens, and Elizabeth Rogers, and his brother, Douglas Rogers. He also leaves behind an extended family of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and cousins who all held a special place in his heart.

Mark enjoyed going to program daily, being outside when the weather was nice, going on outings, and he loved music.

The family would like to thank all of the amazing, compassionate ICU and Palliative Care doctors, PAs, nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, and staff at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass to celebrate Mark's life on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield, NY 14526. There will be a private internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery immediately following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mark’s memory to causes that were meaningful to him:
