Markis James Ortiz-Harris

Markis James Ortiz-Harris, (24) came into this world weighing 6lbs and 14 oz.,

21 ½ inches long on June 8, 2001, in Rochester New York. He was born to Randi

Harris and Jose Antonio Ortiz- Diaz at Parkridge Hospital at 8:42 am.

He is predeceased by grandparents Gary Mark Harris and his paternal grandparents Jose A. Ortiz-Ortiz and Grandmother Maria Virgen Diaz.

Markis is survived by his mother Randi May Harris, father Jose A Ortiz-Diaz, brother Jose A. Ortiz-Diaz-Harris and Grandmother Lynda Harris. He also has 2 nephews that he loved very much, Jose A Dumas-Harris and Johnaythen Mark Ramos Harris as well as five aunts and one uncle.

Everyone who knew Markis loved him. He was a man of strength, love, kindness compassion and will be sorely missed.

The family is asking the community to silence any hate, anger and to stop the violence. We thank all of those who have prayed, are still praying, helped us, and sent condolences.
