GATES - Passed away peacefully on January 26, 2019 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his father, Marris; his mother, Elsie and his brother, David.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Lou; son, John (Jonelle) Sullivan; daughter, Ann Marie (Joseph) Barone; sisters, Agnes Crim and Sylvia Pickard; sister-in-law, JoAnne Calabro; brother-in-law, Jim Calabro; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; good friend, Larry Bloom and many wonderful neighborhood friends.
Marris served 2 terms in Vietnam in the U.S. Army.
Family and friends are invited to call 10AM-1PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. followed by a Prayer Service at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Marris' name to:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,
262 Danny Thomas Place
Memphis, TN 38105
