Irondequoit: Born August 18, 1918. Loving Mother and Grandmother. Peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at age 92. Predeceased by her husbands, Vincent Battaglia and Anthony Brescia. Survived by her loving children, Louis (Susan) Brescia, Nancy Battaglia, Paul (Carolyn) Brescia, Linda Brescia (Bonacci), Rosemarie (John) McEntee; brother, Gene Garda; sisters-in-law, Joan Brescia, Joyce Oskamp; 8 grandchildren, Joseph (Marlene) Kase, Eric (Deanna) Kase, Michael (Tamara) Kase, Paul (Kim) Brescia, David (Heidi) Brescia, Jason (Janine) Brescia, Tamara Kase, James McEntee; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many loving nieces and nephews and loving friend, Anne Marcello.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff in the Emergency Room, 4th floor MAT Dept. and 5th floor fireflies of RGH, who took special care of our mother.
Family and friends may attend calling hours TODAY, TUESDAY, January 25th from 3-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Mary's Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 9:30 AM at St. Ann's Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
