Mary Helen Kalita, October 5, 2014, at the age of 96.
Born in North Tonawanda, NY, the daughter of Sczepan and Julia (Wielgosz) Plewak.
After marrying her husband, Tony in 1946, Mary moved to Niagara Falls. She was very proud of her work at Curtiss Wright during WWII as a welding inspector.
Mary served as a Girl's Group Leader for Woodmen of the World. She was a wonderful artist, great baker and a big NY Yankees fan.
Predeceased by husband, Anthony J. Kalita, Sr.
son, Anthony J. (Butch) Kalita, Jr.; brother, Steven
Plewak and sister, Helen DesJardins.
Survived by son, Robert (Sharon) Kalita of Los Lunas, NM; granddaughters, Rebecca (Michael) Pokora of Richmond, VA and Cynthia Kalita of Detroit, MI.
Her service will be held Friday, October 10th at
11 AM, at the chapel at Holy Trinity Cemetery,
5401 Roberts Ave., Lewiston, NY
