Rochester: Friday, September 9th, 2011 at age 87. She is predeceased by her son, Edward Rizzo; sister, Helen Schmidt; brother, Albert Carter; parents, Sarah and Albert Carter. Survived by her children, Richard (Linda) Carter, Barbara Bertram, Donna (David) Kausch; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mary was a retiree of Xerox after 25 years of service where she also served as Sergeant at Arms.
Family and friends may call from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, September 14th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Parish at Christ The King Church, 445 Kings Highway S. Rochester, NY 14617. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
