Greece: Passed Wednesday, October 16, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband, Larry; son, Gary; daughter, Brenda DiCesare; son-in-law, John Ferriter; parents and 9 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Bansbach, Lynda Ferriter, Brian (Debbie) Monaghan; daughter-in-law, Nancy Monaghan; son-in-law, Mike DiCesare (Jackie Rohr); 9 grandchildren, Mark (Tracy) and Tim (Mary) Bansbach, Susan (Al) Favro, John (Kim) and Bill (Elizabeth) Ferriter, Christy Ferriter, David Monaghan, Morgan and Samantha Monaghan; 9 great-grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Alyssa, Madelyn, Brianna, Evan, Torrence, Reece, Trevor, Robert; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom was the ultimate "go to" mother and her greatest joy was always time spent with family and friends. She was a master at knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, sewing, painting, cooking and gardening. Alice was a 25 year member of the Park Ridge Auxillary, volunteering at the hospital gift shop.
The family would like to thank Unity Transitional Care Center and Lifetime Care Hospice for their kindness to Mom and her family.
There will be no prior calling hours. Alice's Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
