Rochester: May 1, 2014 at age 85.
She is predeceased by her husband, Frank and son, John; parents, Frank and Mae (Geiger) Menz and brother, Robert Menz.
She is survived by her son, William (Berni) Simmons and daughters, Mary Ann (Fred) Atzrott, Ann Marie (Jim) Johnston and Gloria (Scott) Gerken; grandchildren, Christopher (Lena), Jennifer, Adrienne (Eric), Christine, John (Sarah), Nicole, Kimmy, Allison, Justin (Ana), Jonathan, Sarah, Ryan; great-grandsons, Elijah, Alex and Austin; sister, Betty Kruppenbacher; brothers, Gerald (Elsie) and Frank (Georgianne) Menz and sister-in-law, Patricia Menz.
Mary was a long time parishioner, staff member, lunch monitor and member of the Rosary Society at St. Ambrose Church.
Family will receive friends Wednesday 4:30-7 at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10AM at Peace of Christ Parish, St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd.
Interment Holy Sepulchre.
Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy H.S., St. John's Nursing Home or Peace of Christ Parish.
