Mary E. Schauber

Mary E. Schauber, née Potter, died on September 23, 2026, in Rochester, New York. She was born on May 21, 1927, in Utica, New York.

Mary will be remembered with love by those who knew her. She loved reading, a pleasure that remained an important part of her life and brought her quiet enjoyment over the years.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Schauber, and his wife, Patricia; her daughters, Wendy Miller and her husband, Jeffrey, Beth Schauber, and Kerry Schauber; and her granddaughter, Sarah Schauber. She will be dearly missed by her family, who carry forward her memory with love and gratitude.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 2013, and by her parents, Joel Potter and Estella Potter.

A Mass will be held on September 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Home Chapel, Saint Anns Drive, Rochester, New York 14621.

Mary’s life touched her family in lasting ways, and her memory will remain a blessing to those who loved her.
