Predeceased by her parents, Dr. Ernest Paul & Dr. Mary Mathews; step-mother, who raised her, Amara Mathews; brother, Paul Mathews Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Simmons; grandchildren, Saniya & Cape Mullins; siblings, Ruth Mathews, Shaji (Nita)Mathews, & Eapen Peter (Latoya) Mathews; dear friends, Constance (Mark Pipal) Rice, Dana (Wanda) Drake, Wyvonia Fourte, Mildred Mills & Joyce (Paul) Fowler; many nieces & nephews.
Family will receive friends 10 AM - 12PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., where her Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Ave.
