In loving memory of Marylee McCombs Siplin
Marylee was born in 1937 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. She lived a long and meaningful life filled with simple joys, quiet strength, and love for her family and friends. She passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 88.
Marylee spent most of her life in Rochester, NY where she raised her four children. She lived in San Diego, California for four years before spending her final five years in Cumming, Georgia, where she remained close to various family and continued to enjoy the things that brought her happiness.
Marylee found joy in life's everyday pleasures. She loved knitting, working on puzzles, reading the daily newspaper, getting lost in a good book and trips to the casinos. She appreciated the joy and excitement of any day out. She traveled across the country numerous times, visiting different sites or landmarks each time. She was able to live one of her dreams by taking her Alaskan cruise in 2023. One of her greatest companions was her beloved cat, Mewsette, who brought her comfort and many happy moments.
Marylee will be remembered for the life she built, the memories she created, and the love she shared with those around her. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them always and find comfort in the many stories, traditions, and moments they shared with her. She leaves behind many family members who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.
Although she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully.
