Mary Alice Wyatt

Mary Alice was born in Colquitt, GA to the late Lonny Calloway and Rosa Mae Wyatt on June 22, 1950. She departed this earthly life on August 11, 2025.

Mary Alice attended Benjamin Franklin High School before joining Eastman Kodak, where she was employed for more than 20 years. Most recently, she worked at Walmart until a few weeks ago. She built strong colleague relationships and delivered such excellent service that many customers preferred to wait for her help.

Mary joined Full Gospel Tabernacle under the leadership of the late Rev. Ira White, where she remained a devoted member until her recent illness. She often expressed her affection for Pastor Walker, the church family, and the choir. Her steadfast faith inspired those around her. She loved her family and enjoyed their company. Mary was a skilled cook and a natural comedian; time with her always meant great food and laughter. She will truly be missed by all!

She is predeceased by her parents: Lonny Calloway and Rosa Mae Wyatt, brother Bobby Calloway and her close cousin, Susie Ann Wyatt. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Darren Walker, 2 daughters, Kimberly and Teneka Mayes; 4 brothers, Jeffrey (Linda) Wyatt, Zachary (Cassandra) Kelley, Leonard (Teda) Calloway of West Palm Beach, Fl and Larry (Rebecca) Calloway of Clewiston, FL; 3 Sisters, Diane and Gwendolyn Calloway of South Bay, FL and Patricia Randall of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law, Thelma Calloway of Clewiiston, FL; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 4 aunts, Betty Wyatt, Diane Barr, Elizabeth Lowe of Rochester and Catherine Prather of Jacksonville, FL; 1 uncle, Sylvester Prather; best friend, Mary Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 10-12noon Monday August 18, 2025 at The Full Gospel Tabernacle Gospel Church, 614 Clifford Ave, Rochester, NY, 14621. A funeral service will begin promptly at 12noon. Interment Grove Place Cemetery.
