IRONDEQUOIT - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 1st 2019 at age 52. Predeceased by her father Ralph Sochia; father-in-law, Edwin D. Hoefler. Survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Edwin M. Hoefler; sons, Edwin M., Ethan, Daniel, Noah Hoefler; mother, Diane Sochia; siblings, Martin Sochia, Elizabeth (Timothy) Ciancione, Paul (Ann Marie) Sochia, Kathleen Sochia (Eric Evans); mother-in-law, Sharon Hoefler; step mother-in-law, Pat Hoefler; sister-in-law, Kaleen (Brian) Shea; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends and her beloved dogs Cece & Silver.
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, February 6th from 4-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Maureen's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Thursday February 7th at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Private Interment.
