Hilton: Passed away suddenly while working at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. Predeceased by her mother, Clara Powell. She has left behind her husband of 16 years, Gary Makas; father, Francis (Maxine) Powell; sisters, Michelle (Kevin) Berry, Mary (Jim) Sweet; brother, Mark (Valerie) Powell; several nieces and nephews.
Melanie was an active member of dog obedience (formally DOTCORNY), had her B.S. in Biochemistry from Brockport, was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and a cancer survivor for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, best friend, dog lover, and dog trainer.
A Graveside Service will be held 10 AM, Monday, September 30th at Parma Union Cemetery.
