Greece: Passed peacefully Friday, February 22, 2013 at age 89. He his predeceased by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean and son-in-law, Joseph Neary. He is survived by his children, John (Robbie), Donna Neary, Michael (Andrea); grandchildren, Rhonda (Joe) Bates, Adrienne (Christopher) Hoffarth, Kelli Jean Neary; great-grandchildren, Joey, Jonah, Christopher, Adie Leigh, Aiden, Dylan and Godson; Father Joseph Lanzalaco. Michael was a US Army veteran who served his country during WWII and was a retiree of the United States Postal Service after 35 years.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 27 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Michael's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9AM at The Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Cathedral Community, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, NY 14615.
