Chili: After a strong fight Michael finally decided to rest Thursday October 17, 2013 at age 54. He is predeceased by his parents, Dr. Robert J. and Catherine A. Barnes. He is survived by his siblings, Robert, Patty, Kathy, Tom, Ann Marie (Kevin) Phelan, Susan (Jim) Philbin; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Michael took great pride in his excellent work record and tenure at the Home Depot of Rochester.
There will be no prior calling hours. Michael's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday October 22nd at 11 a.m. at St. Pius the Tenth Church, 3010 Chili Ave. Private interment. In lieu of flowers contributions in Michael's name may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd., Rochester, NY 14618.
