Passed away on December 23, 2025 at the age of 59.

Predeceased by her mother, Loretta Courtney

She is survived by her son, CJ; longtime partner, George Griffen; father, R.J. Courtney; siblings, Anthony (Stacey) Courtney, Shaun Courtney, Angela Hudson, & Crystal (James) Courtney-Wade; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Michelle was a fun-loving straightforward person with a huge heart. She would have you laughing for hours with all the amazing stories she told with that she never hesitated to tell you how things were yet always in love or laughter.

Her Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
