Nancy J. Johnson

Nancy J. Johnson, 85, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully at her home on September 14, 2026.

She is survived by her grandson, Steven Aprilano; his wife, Maggie; and her great-grandchildren, Annie, Stevie Jr., and Grace. She was predeceased by her husband, William G. Johnson, and her daughter, Roberta Aprilano-Parina.

Born April 16, 1941, in Rochester NY, Nancy was raised by her mother, Elizabeth, and stepfather, Kenneth, and graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1959. In 1962, she proudly served in the United States Army as a member of the Women’s Army Corps (WAC), where she worked as a Personnel Specialist. She later held clerical roles with multiple Rochester-area firms, including Kodak, and later supported local government in the Town of Greece.

Nancy was deeply devoted to her faith and made sharing the Gospel a pillar of her life. Determined, thoughtful, giving, and loyal, she cared deeply for her family and embraced many others in her community as family of her own.

A private ceremony will be held.
