Nancy Schneider (O'Rourke)
March 10, 1927 — July 20, 2016
Rochester: On July 20th Nancy entered into eternal peace surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years young.
Nancy was born on March 10, 1927 in Rochester, NY. She was one of 8 children born to James and Ann O'Rourke.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Richard, brothers, James and Jack O'Rourke and sister Kathleen Crowell.
Survived by her brother, Thomas (Betty) O'Rourke, sisters, Terry Senger, Mary Beauter, Margaret Opett, and sister -in Law Barbara O'Rourke; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was a beautiful woman with a lot of energy, fire and humor. Even though she suffered from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma she never let that keep her down and showed us how to strap on boxing gloves to survive and overcome.
A heartfelt thank-you for the special care and attention she received from the staff at St. John's Home.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
