GATES- Naomi Grace Tillcock, 83, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, December 4, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Naomi was born in Ireland, and was raised in England by Ada Ruth New. She worked as a Registered Nurse in England, and when she moved to the United States, she became a foster care provider, raising children as her own. On December 10, 1960 she married the love of her life, James E. Tillcock. They were married for 60 years and together they raised 4 children. Naomi was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend who cared deeply for everyone.
She is predeceased by sons Andrew and David.
She is survived by daughter Carolyn and son Jackie. Grandchildren Terrence (Kishina), Tiffany, Nicholas, Jeremey, and Lakeya. Great-Grandchildren Zoey, Zayla, Jayden, and Zeno.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, from 5-7pm, with a service to immediately follow.
