Nicholas Giannone Jr.
April 7, 1937 — July 20, 2019
GREECE - Left us on Saturday, July 20, 2019 after 82 years. Predeceased by his infant daughter, Gina Marie; parents, Nicholas and Marie; and sister, Domenica Martone.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Eleanor Giannone; sons, Nicholas J. Giannone and Joel Giannone; daughter, Jenna (Robert) Johnson and nephew, Michael Marchese. Nick also leaves behind or joins loving extended family members, Sam and Violet Coco, Josie and Jim Deni, Angie and Mike Charles, Rose Ann Coco, Steve and Nora Coco; nieces and nephews.
Nick selflessly devoted his life to his family giving them everything they wanted and so much more. He retired in 2000 after a 30 year career with the U.F.C.W. District Union Local One.
In gratitude for years of outstanding, compassionate care, our family would like to lovingly acknowledge the dedicated physicians and medical professionals at Rochester General and Unity hospitals. You gave us an extra 20 years with the man who made our lives possible.
The family would like to invite friends to meet on Thursday, July 25th at 11 AM in the Christ Our Light Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for Committal Prayers and Entombment.
