Nina R. Anderson

January 23, 1938 — January 9, 2016

Passed away Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at the age of 77.

She is predeceased by her father John Mark Westbrook and mother Gertrude Johnson Westbrook, Sister Marie Breedlove, Lillie Westbrook and Ada "Denise" (Bobbi) Rivers.

She is survived by her 3 brothers, Ulysees Westbrook, William (Viola) Westbrook and James A. Westbrook; 3 sisters, Bertha (Charles) Wooding, Gwendolyn Anne Westbrook, Lulu W. (John A.) Griffin and special brother-in-law Bobbi Rivers, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, dear friend Ms. Nettie Brown and Special Friend Ms. Marva Strong and family.

Nina Ruth was the 3rd of 9 children born in Americus, Georgia, January 23rd, 1938. She graduated in 1956 from James A. Staley High School in Americus, GA. Later moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she resided for a number of years, there she met and married Billy Anderson (estranged).
She later moved to Rochester, NY in the Seventies, and was employed with the Bausch and Lomb Company for 14 years.

Nina studied accounting at MCC and received an Associates degree; she also worked with the Monroe Development Center for a number of years.

Nina received the Lord in her life as a young child, being a member of The House of God Pentecostal Church all of her life and faithful until the Lord called her home. She loved to pray and pray always for others.
