Passed into the presence of Jesus surrounded by her loving family members on February 8th, 2016.
Nora was born on Dec 18th, 1936 to the late Borden and Truey (Hayes) Johnston (Cooper).
She attended the Spencerport NY schools and was employed by Eastman Kodak Company, Howard's Fabric and Foam, and Old Country Buffet, a job she loved because it gave her the opportunity to serve and mingle with people and make lifelong friends.
She attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Greece.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Spindler and William Miller and also by three siblings, Gertrude Rodenberger, John Johnston and James Johnston.
She is survived by her daughter Dawn (Tom) Brickell, step children, Raymond (Karon) Spindler, JoAnn Smith, William (Sherry) Miller, and Lori (Edward) Hart.
Grandchildren, Larry, Laurie, Robert, Erin, Doreen, Marc, Timothy, Christopher, Nicole, William III, Chad, Brittany, Brooke, Bridget and many great grandchildren.
Siblings, Truey Anne Sterneman, Deborah (Harold) Hurne, and David (Suzann) Johnston. Sisters-in-law Nancy Johnston and Cheri Johnston Brode.
Many nieces and nephews and her beloved "boy" Benji.
Friends may call Wednesday 5pm to 7pm at New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 10am at
Aldersgate United Methodist Church
4115 Dewey Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nora's name to a charity of your choice.
