Passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 73.

Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Irene Hines; brothers, Paul (Penny) and Leo Jr.

She is survived by her twin sister Lois Hines, sister, Irene (Joe) Brunelle; sister-in-law Sue Hines; nieces and nephews, Christine (Jaime) Vargas, Cheryl (Suresh Goel) Brunelle, Amber Letko, William Hines, Leah (Dave Maye) Hines, Sarah (Justin) Ereio; cousin, Margaret Smith; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Her graveside service will be held 1:30pm, Friday, November 14th, 2025, at St. Agnes Cemetery (48 Cemetery Ave, Menands, NY, 12204)

Norma had a heart as big as the country songs she loved, especially those by George Strait. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone she met, she never met a stranger, only new friends. She had a deep love for her kitties and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially the music she made at her piano. Her gentle spirit, open heart, and love for people will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
