Passed away on June 7, 2026 at the age of 97.
Predeceased by her husband, Edward Brown; father, Andrew Hussar & mother, Freida Hussar; nephew, Robert Hussar; many more family members.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Sorce; niece, Tuyet Pavone and her children, Amanda Pavone & Samuel Pavone; nieces, Kathie Musclow & Donna Sanginario;niece, Sharon Dobbins; niece, Carol Kryk; many more nieces, nephews & friends.
Olga lived a long and beautiful life, remaining active and independent well into her 97th year. She had a kind and generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Family was the center of Olga’s world. She loved her family deeply and was always there with support, encouragement, and care whenever they needed her. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and making memories along the way. She also found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially trips to the casino, playing the slot machines, and gathering with friends for a game of bingo.
Olga will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her presence brought comfort and happiness to many, and she will be dearly missed.
Interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday June 26, 2026 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14612. Please meet the family at the Lake Avenue (west) entrance prior to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, in honor of Olga, contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
