Parker S. Mitchell

Passed away on September 6th, 2026 at the age of 11.

Predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather, James Blair; Paternal Grandfather, Francis Mitchell; Maternal Uncle, Christopher Blair; Cousin, Cassandra Blair.

He is survived by his Parents, Jamie and Scott Mitchell; Sister, Teagan Mitchell; Maternal Grandmother "Mahna", Terry Blair; Paternal Grandmother "Nana", Linda Mitchell; Uncle; Michael (Elizabeth) Mitchell; Aunt, Stacy (Dana) Blair; Aunt, Jackie (Paul) Jurek, and Laurie Koepnick; Cousins, Connie (Nick), Stephanie (Kyle), Hunter (Russell), Samantha, Lucas, Baylee, Jimmy, Allyssa, Haili, Matthew, Elianna, and Evelina; Godparents, Mark and Jeannine Pruitt; several "Aunts and Uncles" that have become our family; as well as many loving family, friends, coaches and teachers.

More than anything, Parker will be remembered for who he was. Parker was smart, kind, caring, and genuine. He truly excelled at everything he did. He had a good heart, and his kindness left an impression on the people fortunate enough to meet him. He had so many friends and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome. 

Parker was a true sports lover. He proudly cheered for the Buffalo Bills and loved being part of the Greece Chargers football family, where he enjoyed playing the game he loved. Baseball was another big part of Parker’s life. He played with the Greece Little League throughout his life, being a leader, building friendships, learning the game, and creating memories that will stay with those who knew him. Parker had a special passion for sports cards. He loved collecting them, but even more than collecting, he loved sharing them with others.

When Parker wasn’t playing sports, you could often find him playing video games, throwing a ball around outside, or exploring the world around him. He had a curious spirit and a wonderful sense of adventure. He was also a talented and natural trumpet player. Parker loved band, and music came to him with a special ease that made it clear he had found something he truly enjoyed.

When he didn't have a ball in his hand, Parker was often found outside exploring, camping, and skipping rocks with his Dad. The time spent in nature with his family, especially being on the river in the Thousand Islands, were some of his best memories. Parker also had an eye for a great thrift find and would always want to stop by a garage sale. He enjoyed searching through thrift stores and discovering something unique or unexpected. He appreciated the fun of the hunt and had a style and personality all his own.

At home, Parker loved being a big brother to his sister Teagan, especially the sibling rivalry that they had. Parker’s two dogs, Bruce and Wally, were very special to him. He loved playing with them and spending time with his furry companions. They were lucky to have Parker’s love, just as he was lucky to have theirs. Parker loved the holidays, especially driving around town to see the different Christmas lights, when the magic of the season brought everyone together.

Most of all, we will miss Parker—a beloved son, family member, friend, teammate, musician, explorer, dog lover, and one-of-a-kind kid who was loved more than words can ever express. His life was short, but his impact will last forever.

Family will receive friends Monday, September 14th, 2026 AND Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM and 4:00PM to 8:00PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
