A career horticulturist, Patrick found solace and joy in the embrace of the great outdoors. His hands, tended to the earth with a reverence that brought forth life and beauty. Before he cultivated blossoms and greenery, Patrick navigated the sprawling highways as a tractor-trailer driver. Alongside his professional pursuits, he was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.
Patrick’s essence was defined not only by his career but by the irreplaceable roles he played within his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lori Sandler Canada, whose partnership brought him boundless joy. Together, they nurtured their son, Matt, and his wife Lauren, fostering a home filled with laughter and love. Patrick's connection to his family extended to his sister, Tracy Lavean, along with several nieces and nephews who will carry forth the warmth of his memory.
A proud member of the Mohawk Tribe, St. Regis Reservation, he held his heritage close to his heart, a testament to his identity that influenced countless aspects of his life. Patrick's spirit now nestles among the stars, yet his legacy remains manifest in the lives he touched and the lessons he imparted.
He was predeceased by his cherished parents, Charles and Mabel Canada, and his beloved sisters, Diana and Brenda, who welcomed him home. Their memories intertwine with his, creating a tapestry rich with love and shared moments.
