She is survived by her husband, Carlos; children, Angelo (Prudence) Ramos, Nerieda Mercado, & Peter (Melanie) Viera; grandchildren, AnnMarie, Samantha, & Paula Ramos, Amanda & Natalie Mercado, Mia, Emma, & Colin Viera; great-grandchildren, Darius & Darianna Weathers, Andrew Soto-Bareis & Jose Aviles; siblings, Calixto Ortiz, Juan (Elizabeth) Ortiz, Leon (Terri) Ortiz, Mercedes Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, & James (Kathy) Ortiz; many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Family will receive friends 2 - 4 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. where her Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM.
