Pauline Glaser, 88, of Rochester, New York and Tampa, Florida, died peacefully in her sleep on January 8, 2013 in Florida. She was born on January 4, 1925, in Rochester, New York. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Len Glaser who died 16 years ago. They had a loving marriage that lasted 52 years.
Pauline was a homemaker who devoted her life to her husband Len and to raising their family. Pauline was an avid reader; and she enjoyed movies, the theater, music, and the sun and water views of Florida. Her greatest treasures and focus of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: Len and wife Jan of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Tom and wife Marie of Columbia, Maryland, Pat and husband Bruce Moyer of Rochester, New York; and Robert Glaser and partner Rob Bowen, and Dada Pitman Glaser of Tampa, Florida. Pauline is survived by 11 grandchildren, which were all her favorites, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers Art and John Schwartz of Rochester and a sister Joan Arp of Vermont and in-laws Mary Penders of Rochester, Joe Glaser of Colorado, Dorothea Fullem of Vermont and Lorraine Donadoni of Maryland.
Pauline's family wishes to extend special thanks to her niece Sue Altpeter for the loving care she gave Pauline when she was ill.
Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.
