Listen to Obituary

Peggy Weis departed this world on July 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy beautifully woven with strength, love, and a sprinkle of sass that only she could command. She was a feisty redhead whose spirit could light up a room and whose unwavering generosity touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

With an unapologetically bold and outspoken nature, Peggy was a force to be reckoned with. She approached life with a sweet and sour disposition that made her both charming and relatable. Her strong-willed personality reflected in every interaction, as she fiercely protected those she cherished. Peggy was not just loved; she was adored—her beauty emanated not only from her striking appearance but also from the kindness she shared freely with the world.

Peggy's life was a testament to living authentically. She embraced her uniqueness, and her heartfelt sincerity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Though she may now rest, her roguishly delightful energy and the memories of her vibrant presence will forever serve as a guiding light to those fortunate enough to call her family and friends.

As we remember Peggy, let us celebrate the indomitable spirit that characterized her life: one of ferocity, warmth, and an unmistakable love that will echo in our hearts for years to come.

Predeceased by her loving partner of 17 years, Richard J. Huff; parents, Rosario and Irene Lamica; siblings, Deanna Lamica, Betty White, Joan Quartieri, Patricia DeLorme, Robert Lamica.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Patricia) Weis, Irene "Missy" Weis, Steven Weis, Michelle (Josh) Beckham, Brandy (Greg Gay) Huff, Bonnie (Robert) Gary, Richard "Man" (Shannon) Huff; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn LaTore, Judy LaMere, Bonita Lamica; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
