Several of the places they visited were: Chincoteague, VA, Cape May, NJ, Cape Cod, MA, Outer Banks, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, and St. Petersburg, FL, leading them to buy and enjoy for many years a winter retreat in Ft. Myers, FL.
The couple also enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Cancun, the Caribbean, Nova Scotia, and a South West tour to name a few.
Phyllis enjoyed baking, especially her mother's famous sugar cookies. She also enjoyed antiquing, quilting, gardening, and was an avid reader.
