Greece: Thursday September 26, 2013 at age 98 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, James Carmen and daughter, Juanita O'Neil; sisters, Lucy Trovato, Susan Duncan, Meta Bonaldi, Ann Cuseo; brothers, Tony Cuseo and Mike Cuseo. Survived by her daughter, Lorraine Hahnel and brother-in-law, Joseph Duncan; granddaughters, Cathy (Eric) Johnson, Karen Moss (Eric), Patricia O'Neil (Angela), Ann Marie (Matt) Pettine; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Brian, Dillon, Gianna. Phyllis retired from Eastman Kodak after 18 years of service. She was an active member of St. Theodore's Church and the Eagles Club.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 from 10 AM - 12 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A prayer will be held by the Rev. Steve Krause at the end of calling hours at New Comer Funeral Home. A motorcycle escorted procession will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2641 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642 in Phyllis' memory.
