GATES-SYRACUSE - Died peacefully at home May 5, 2018 at age 81.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diane; children, Martin Sochia of Rochester, Elizabeth (Timothy) Ciancione of Ogden, Maureen (Edwin) Hoefler of Irondequoit, Paul (Ann Marie) Sochia of Raleigh, NC, Kathleen Sochia of Rochester; grandchildren, Lauren, Thomas, Kevin, Edwin, Ethan, Daniel, Noah, Jacob, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Collins and Jadyn; brother, Joseph (Frances) Sochia of Clay, NY.
Ralph graduated from Smith Technical High School in Syracuse and served in the US Army in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gates Volunteer Ambulance.
