Randall Garwood

Randall Lee Garwood died peacefully at 11:45 A.M. at Highland Hospital on February 7, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. He had been struggling with illness his last few months. He was born at Highland Hospital on September 13, 1946. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife Carol Lynne Garwood who died on March 9, 1990.

His survivors include his three (3) children, to wit: Andrew Garwood (wife Liz and brother-in-law John Collazo), Tammy Lynn Walker of Oklahoma and Karen Marie Garwood of Rochester, his siblings Frederick Garwood and Debra Campoli of Rochester and Marilyn Whaley of Texas, his grandchildren, Daniel Andre Garwood, Victoria Liz Garwood, Joseph Andres Garwood, Benjamin Andrew Garwood, Bonita Lynne Peace, Rainey Jevon Walker, Brandon Lemar Walker, Carol Marie Garwood, and Hunter James Garwood. His Great Grandchildren, Royal Renee Peace, and Matteo Archie Walker. His nieces and nephews, Julia and Matthew Campoli, David Whaley of Idaho and Debra and Garrick Whaley of Texas. Friends included close life-time friends Daniel Noonan and Randy Lamb. Randy served in Vietnam while in the Army and was a long-time worker at the Post Office. He was friendly and kind to all who knew him.

He was loved and will be missed.He will be buried privately in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Journey Christian Church (3955 Mount Read Blvd. in Rochester) on Friday, February 13th, at 1 PM with a gathering for friends and family to follow.
