Henrietta, New York
Passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2026 at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was defined by service, faith, and an unwavering commitment to the people and community he loved.
Before beginning his years of service to his community, Ray proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. His commitment to helping others continued throughout his life. He dedicated 20 years to Greece Volunteer Ambulance, answering calls and caring for members of his community in times when they needed help most. He was also a Lifetime Member of the North Greece Fire Department, an organization with which he shared a deep sense of pride and camaraderie.
His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Church, where he found fellowship, friendship, and a sense of community.
Those who knew Ray will remember not only his years of service, but the person behind them—a man who showed up, lent a hand, and cared deeply about others. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the people he helped, and most of all, in the family he loved so dearly.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
